Mixers

We have three different types of mixers for powders or granules: paddle, ribbon- and plow cutting mixer. The mixers are designed differently depending of if it is continuous blending or batch, and they are manufactured in mild steel, stainless steel or acid-proof materials.

Ploughshare mixer batch

The ploughshare-mixer is a strong and quick batch wise mixer which mechanically fluidizes the product. The rotating "plough-shares" creates a centrifugal force inside the chamber that creates a three dimensional homogeneous mixture, even for products with different particle sizes. The capacity is from 54 litres up to 9000 litres with a filling degree of 30-70%. Larger mixers are available on request. It can be manufactured in mild steel, stainless steel or AISI 316

Ribbon mixer batch


 The machine is suitable for chemical, plastic or food industry. The capacity ranges from 78 litres to 11550 litres.The ribbon mixer is a strong mixer that mixes efficiently without damaging the product mechanically or through high temperature. The sturdy construction ensures durability through safe running of the machine with low energy consumption. 

Continous mixer

The continuous mixer is used for mixing of powders, granulates in continuous processes. Even adding of liquids is possible. The mixer is suitable for food, chemical and pharmaceutical industry. For best result it is important to control the flow to the mixer.
The mixer is available from 2,6 litres up to 26000 litres. It is manufactured in mild steel, stainless steel or AISI 316.

Batch mixer

The Batch mixer is foremost used for mixing of powders and granulates in batches, though adding liquids is possible. The mixer is suitable for food, chemical and pharmaceutical industry. For best result the flow to the mixer should be controlled.

The mixer is available from 2,6 litres up to 26000 litres. It is manufactured in mild steel, stainless steel or AISI 316

Mixer for pasteurization

Plough Cutting mixer is a rich and fast batch mixers that mechanically fluidizes the product. The rotating "plow blades" create a centrifugal force inside the chamber that gives a three dimensional homogeneous mixture, even for products with different particle size. The capacity is from 54 liters up to 9000 liters with a filling level of 30-70%. Larger mixers can be manufactured on request. Fixtures are available in carbon steel, stainless or acid resistant.

Double shaft paddle mixer

Paddle mixer is equipped with dual paddle shafts, providing fast and homogeneous mixing of solids and mixing of liquids in powder. It is also used in coating processes, and for granulating. The mixture may be one hundred percent homogeneity such as frozen vegetables, cereals, potato powder and spices. The paddle-Mixers complex and ingenious design combines fast mixing at low speed. This means gentle product treatment and minimal wear. Emptying occurs rapidly through the large bottom doors.

3D Mixer

The PTU series 30 Mixer or Multi Direction Powder Mixer is used for homogeneous mixing of powdery substances with different specific weights and particle sizes. Producing dry-to-wet and wet-to­ wet mixtures is also possible. The production process is hygienic and dust-free because the product is mixed in independent containers of variable sizes.

During the mixing process the powder moves on a random direction from center to the end of the trough and on the same time from top to the bottom. In such a multi-dimensional way, the PTU series 3D Mixer needs only short mixing time and relatively low power consumption.

The mixer's "Gentle" mixing action is good for final products that are sensitive to high shear of the mixer and tend to break or to reduce their particles size, or are highly abrasives.

Continuous Paddle Mixer

 

The PTP series Paddle Mixer is an innovative design of the conventional Plow Mixer, but it generates gentler mixing (for turbulence sensitive particles) and requires less power consumption.

Besides, the PTP series Paddle Mixer has a better performance when the materials are with liquid and viscous, for example, slurries, this is because the conventional plough mixing element tends to be stick and wrapped by the viscous materials while the new paddle agitator doesn’t.

The main difference between our Mixer and PTS Mixer is the mixing element: PTS Mixer uses the plough shaped element, while PTP Mixer uses the paddle element.

The PTP series Paddle Mixer can be used wherever the Plow Mixer is used, including but not limited to compounding, fine mixing, dispersing, suspending, emulsifying, deaerating, tempering, accelerating chemical or physical reactions, granulating, breaking down agglomerates, etc. It is suited for such difficult processes as mixing trace elements in proportions of up to 1 in 1,000,000 parts.

PSG SIGMA MIXER/MIXTRUDERProdukt ej skapad

The PSG series Sigma Mixer, which is also known as the Double Sigma Mixer, or Double Z Blade Mixer, is used for the mixing-kneading of materials with very high viscosi- ty (over 500,000 cps).

With its unique design of Z-shaped mixing tools installed in two semi-cylinders, The PSG series Sigma Mixer is able to provide a combined functions of compressing, stretching, folding, kneading & mixing, which makes it widely used in the chemical, food, sealing compound and paint industries, among others. If a screw extruder is applied for discharging, the mixer is also called Sigma Mixer Extruder, or Mixtruder.

 

High speed mixer

The PDI series High Speed Mixer, also called Mixer Granulator, Wet Granulator, or High Shear Mixer Granulator, is an efficient and versatile blending machine for mixing of dry powders, or granulating with the addition of liquid binder, within a very short time and with excellent cleaning abilities. It is able to give perfect result for mixing due to the innovative design of a central Impeller type mixer with a side vertical Chopper.

The proven mixing action of the PDI series High Speed Mixer ensures effective mixing in may applications. Optimal performance is assures with dedicated designs of optional feeding, discharging and installation.
